- Purpose
- F(ab')2 Rabbit IgG (H&L) Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated Pre-Adsorbed
- Cross-Reactivity (Details)
- Minimal crossreactivity against Bv Ch Gt GP Ham Hs Hu Ms Rt & Sh Serum Proteins Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, Rabbit IgG and Rabbit Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c) or Bovine, Chicken, Goat, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rat and Sheep Serum Proteins.
- Characteristics
- F(ab')2 Anti-Rabbit IgG F(c) Peroxidase Antibody was generated in goat and detects specifically Rabbit IgG F(c). Secondary Antibodies are available in a variety of formats and conjugate types. When choosing a secondary antibody product, consideration must be given to species and immunoglobulin specificity, conjugate type, fragment and chain specificity, level of cross-reactivity, and host-species source and fragment composition.

- Application Notes
- Application Note: F(ab')2 Rabbit IgG Peroxidase Conjugated Antibody has been tested by ELISA and is suitable for immunomicroscopy and flow cytometry or FACS analysis as well as other antibody based fluorescent assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity. The maximum amount of reagent required to stain 1 x 10E6 cells in flow cytometry is approximately 1.0 μg of antibody conjugate. Lesser amounts of reagent may be sufficient for staining. Optimal titers for other applications should be determined by the researcher. As a general guideline dilutions of 1:100 to 1:500 should be suitable for most applications. Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:500 - 1:2,500 Western Blot Dilution: 1:2,000 - 1:10,000 ELISA Dilution: 1:115,000 Other: User Optimized

- Background
- Because of their smaller size, F(ab)2 fragments offer several advantages over intact antibodies for use in certain immunochemical techniques and experimental applications. F(ab)2 fragments penetrate into tissue samples and show better antigen recognition and signal generation in IHC. F(ab)2 fragments lack the Fc region and therefore do not bind Fc receptors which effectively lowers background staining. F(ab')2 Rabbit IgG (H&L) Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated Pre-Adsorbed is ideal for investigators who routinely perform flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry or IHC and other immunoassays.
