- Characteristics
- Rat IgA antibodies detects the alpah chain of the rat IgA. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgA and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against Rat IgM or Rat IgG. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1 % cross reactivity against other Rat heavy or light chain isotypes. Anti-Rat IgA antibody is ideal for investigators involved in serum component research.
