- Background
- GMF-beta a brain-specific protein that belongs to the actin-binding proteins (ADF) structural family. GMF-beta appears to play a role in the differentiation, maintenance, and regeneration of the nervous system. It also supports the progression of certain auto-immune diseases, possibly through its ability to induce the production and secretion of various pro-inflammatory cytokines. Synonym:. Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated solution in 20mM PB, pH 7.4, 130mM NaCl.
- Molecular Weight
- Approximately 16.5 KDa, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 141 amino acids.
