-
- Format
- Lyophilized
- Reconstitution
- Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid votex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1 % BSA, 5 % HSA, 10 % FBS or 5 % Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.
- Buffer
- Lyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
- Storage
- -20 °C,-80 °C
- Storage Comment
-
Store the lyophilized protein at -20°C to -80 °C for long term.
After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20 °C for 3 months, at 2-8 °C for up to 1 week.

- Background
-
Description: ULBP2 Protein, Human, Recombinant (His Tag) consists of 203 amino acids with a molecular weight of 23.2 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of recombinant human ULBP2 is about 33 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions because of glycosylation.NKG2D ligand 2 is cell membrane protein belonging to theMHC class I family. The gene for ULBP-2 resides in a cluster of ten related genes, six of which encode potentially functional glycoproteins. ULBPs are known to bind to human NKG2D, an activating receptor expressed on NK cells, NKT cells, gamma δ T cells, and CD8+ alpha beta T cells, resulting in the production of cytokines and chemokines. Binding of ULBPs ligands to NKG2D induces calcium mobilization and activation of the JAK2, STAT5, ERK and PI3K kinase/Akt signal transduction pathway.ULBP2 / N2DL-2 is not expressed in normal tissues, but in various types of cancer cell lines and the fetus and has been implicated in tumor surveillance.
