-
- Format
- Lyophilized
- Reconstitution
- Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid votex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1 % BSA, 5 % HSA, 10 % FBS or 5 % Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.
- Buffer
- Lyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
- Storage
- -20 °C,-80 °C
- Storage Comment
- Store the lyophilized protein at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months.|After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20°C for 3 months, at 2-8°C for up to 1 week.

- Background
-
Description: NCR1, also known as NK-p46 and CD335, is a natural cytotoxicity receptor(NCR). NCRs are type I transmembrane proteins with 1-2 extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain containing a positively charged amino acid residue, and a short cytoplasmic tail. All are expressed almost exclusively by NK cells and play a major role in triggering NK-mediated killing of most tumor cell lines. NKp46 has two extracellular Ig-like domains followed by a ~40 residue stalk region, a type I transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail. NKp46 has been implicated in NK cell-mediated lysis of several autologous tumor cells, pathogen-infected cell lines, and mononuclear phagocytes infected with an intracellular bacterium.
