    Reconstitution
    Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

    Background
    E8L is an important protein that mediates the invasion of monkeypox virus into host cells. In the process of invading and completing replication, E8L acts as a surface-binding protein of mature virion and can bind to chondroitin sulfate on the cell surface, so that the virus can attach to target cells.

    32.92 kDa. The protein migrates to 50-60 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
