- Recombinant Cynomolgus LAG-3/CD223 Protein (His Tag)
- Sequence
- Pro23-Leu450(Pro74)
- Characteristics
- Recombinant Cynomolgus LAG-3 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Pro23-Leu450(Pro74) is expressed with a 8His tag at the N-terminus.
- Purity
- > 95 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
- Endotoxin Level
- < 1.0 EU per μg as determined by the LAL method.
- Biological Activity Comment
- Immobilized Cynomolgus LAG-3-His at 2μg/ml(100 μl/well) can bind Human FGL1-Fc. The ED50 of Cynomolgus LAG-3-His is 5.8 ug/ml .

- Background
-
Background: Lymphocyte Activating 3(LAG3) belongs to immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily, Macaca fascicularis LAG3 cDNA encodes 533 amino acids (aa) that include a 17 aa signal sequence, a 451 aa extracellular domain (ECD) with two Ig-like domains, a transmembrane region and a highly charged cytoplasmic region. LAG3',s main ligand is MHC class II, to which it binds with higher affinity than CD4. The protein negatively regulates cellular proliferation, activation, and homeostasis of T cells, in a similar fashion to CTLA-4 and PD-1 and has been reported to play a role in Treg suppressive function.
