- Background
- RAB17, also known as Ras-related protein Rab17, belongs to the small GTPase superfamily, Rab GTPases are localized to various intracellular compartments and are known to play important regulatory roles in membrane trafficking. It is regulated traffic through the apical recycling endosome, suggested function in polarized sorting in epithelial cells. Recombinant human RAB17 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. Synonyms: Ras-related protein Rab-17, FLJ12538.
