- Background
- LIFR, also known as leukemia inhibitory factor receptor, is the receptor for leukemia inhibitory factor, a pleiotropic cytokine affecting the differentiation, survival, and proliferation of a wide variety of cells in the adult and the embryo. LIFR plays an important role in several aspects of early pregnancy such as blastocyst implantation in the uterus. Recombinant human LIFR, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
