- Reconstitution
-
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. - Buffer
- Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 25 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.5.
- Handling Advice
- Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
- Storage
- 4 °C/-20 °C/-80 °C
- Storage Comment
-
Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days.
Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.

- Background
-
Recombinant Human Carbonic Anhydrase-Related Protein 10/CA10 is produced with our E. coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Ala21-Asn300) of Human CA10 fused with a 6His tag at the N-terminus.
Carbonic Anhydrase-Related Protein 10 (CA10) belongs to the Carbonic Anhydrase family of Zinc Metalloenzymes. It is an acatalytic member of the α-carbonic anhydrase subgroup. CA10 expression is detected in the adult total brain and almost all parts of the central nervous system, but not in the fetal brain. CA10 catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide in various biological processes, which is fundamental to many processes such as respiration, renal tubular acidification and bone resorption. It is thought to play a role in the central nervous system, especially in brain development. - Molecular Weight
