Optimized DNA sequence encoding Human extracellular domain of mouse IL-1 receptor type 1 including a C-terminal His tag was expressed in HEK293 cells.
    Characteristics
Recombinant IL-R1 (CD121a) is a protein consisting of 330 amino acid residue subunits, due to glycosylation migrates as an approximately 55-60 kDa protein on SDS-PAGE.
    Purity
    > 97 %, as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
    Sterility
    0.2 μm filtered
    Endotoxin Level
Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/µg(1EU/µg).

  • Comment

Recombinant mouse IL1R1 activity was measured by its ability to bind mouse IL1B in a functional ELISA. Immobilized mouse IL1A at 10 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind mouse IL1R1, The EC50 of mouse IL1R1 is 0.13 µg/mL.

    Background
Eotaxin belongs to the platelet factor-4 family of chemokines. The gene symbol is SCYA11. The factor is being referred to also as Eotaxin-1 and has been renamed CCL11. Eotaxin induces substantial accumulation of eosinophils in the skin without significantly affecting the accumulation of neutrophils. Eotaxin is a potent stimulator of both guinea pig and human eosinophils in vitro. The Eotaxin receptor is a G-protein-coupled receptor selectively expressed in human eosinophils.
