- Background
- STX3, also known as syntaxin 3, belongs to the syntaxin family. syntaxin family is cellular receptors for transport vesicles which participate in exocytosis in neutrophils. STX3 has an important role in the growth of neurites and serves as a direct target for omega-6 arachidonic acid. Recombinant human STX3 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
