- Background
- TIMP-1 is an inducible glycoprotein, which is synthesized by many different cell types. TIMP-1 binds in a reversible fashion to matrix metalloproteinases, with regions in the Nterminal domain binding to the MMP substrate-binding site. TIMP-1 also functions as erthyroid-potentiating activity via translocation to the nucleus and also in inhibiting apoptosis in B-cells.,Soluble tumour necrosis factor receptor-1, Tumour necrosis factor receptor subfamily member 1A (TNFRSF1A), Tumour necrosis factor binding protein I (TNFBPI), Tumour necrosis factor receptor type I (TNFRI), Tumour necrosis factor-alpha receptor (TNFAR), CD120a antigen, p55, p55-R, p60, MGC19588.
