Source
- Synthetic
- Application
- Blocking Peptide (BP), Western Blotting (WB)
- Characteristics
- This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PTBP2 antibody (Catalog #: ARP40965_T100). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.

- Background
-
PTBP2 binds to the intronic cluster of RNA regulatory elements, downstream control sequence (DCS). It is implicated in controlling the assembly of other splicing-regulatory proteins. This protein is very similar to the polypyrimidine tract binding protein but it is expressed primarily in the brain.
