100bp DNA Ladder
-
- Detection Method
- Fluorometric
- Detection Range
- 100-1500 bp
- Minimum Detection Limit
- 100 bp
- Application
- Agarose Gel Electrophoresis (AGE)
- Purpose
- 100bp DNA Ladder (Quantitative) is ideal for determining the size of double-stranded DNA from 100 to 1500 base pairs.
- Characteristics
-
The ladder consists of 11 linear double-stranded DNA fragments, chromatography-purified. The intensity of the 500bp has been increased to serve as a reference for easy identification. All fragments are precisely quantified and mixed during the production. For 5 µL loading, all fragments except 500bp are at 40ng. The 500bp fragment is at 100ng. This ladder is pre-mixed with loading dye and is ready to use.
11 DNA Fragments (bp): 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, and 1500
500bp Band: 100ng/5 µL
Other Bands: 40ng/5 µL
Range: 100bp-1.5kb
Bands: 11

- Application Notes
-
Recommended Loading: 5 µL/Lane.
Add 5 µL ladder directly to each well. You may need more or less than 5 µL of ladder, depending on well size and level of intensity needed to visualize the bands.
Recommended Loading: 5 µL/Lane, 8cm, 1.7% Agarose Gel, 0.5×TBE, 5V/cm, 1h. - Comment
-
Do not heat before loading.
For quantification, adjust the concentration of the sample to equalize.
Visualize DNA by staining with ethidium bromide or with SYBR Green I. - Restrictions
