Useful in Sandwich ELISA for Quantitative Detection of Antigen. Aliquot 0.1 mL per well of the 2000pg/mL,1000pg/mL, 500pg/mL, 250pg/mL, 125pg/mL, 62.5pg/mL, 31.2pg/mL mouse CCL28 standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1 mL of the sample diluent buffer into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1 mL of each properly diluted sample of mouse cell culture supernates, serum or plasma(heparin, EDTA) to each empty well. It is recommended that each mouse CCL28 standard solution and each sample be measured in duplicate.

Background: CCL28, also known as mucosae-associated epithelial chemokine(MEC), CCK1 and SCYA28, is a chemokine. It is mapped to 5p12. The tumor hypoxia promotes the recruitment of regulatory T(Treg) cells through induction of expression of the chemokine CCL28, which in turn promotes tumor tolerance and angiogenesis. CCL28 regulates the chemotaxis of cells that express the chemokine receptors CCR3 and CCR10. CCL28 has also been implicated in the migration of IgA-expressing cells to the mammary gland, salivary gland, intestine and other mucosal tissues. It has also been shown as a potential antimicrobial agent effective against certain pathogens, such as Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria and the fungus Candida albicans.
