Background: Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 3 (CXCL3) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. It is mapped to 14p2 in rat. CXCL3 controls migration and adhesion of monocytes and mediates its effects on its target cell by interacting with a cell surface chemokine receptor. It has been shown that CXCL3 regulates cell autonomously the migration of the precursors of cerebellar granule neurons toward the internal layers of cerebellum, during the morphogenesis of cerebellum. CXCL3 also play fundamental roles in the development, homeostasis and it has effects on cells of the central nervous system as well as on endothelial cells involved in angiogenesis or angiostasis.

    Gene Name: CXCL3

Production: Natural and recombinant mouse CXCL3. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins.

Standard: Expression system for standard: E.coli, Immunogen sequence: S32-S100

  • Application Notes

Application Note: Useful in Sandwich ELISA for Quantitative Detection of Antigen. Aliquot 0.1 mL per well of the 1000pg/mL, 500pg/mL, 250pg/mL, 125pg/mL, 62.5pg/mL, 31.2pg/mL, 15.6pg/mL mouse CXCL3 standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1 mL of the sample diluent buffer into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1 mL of each properly diluted sample of mouse cell culture supernates, serum or plasma(heparin, EDTA) to each empty well. It is recommended that each mouse CXCL3 standard solution and each sample be measured in duplicate.
