CRISPR-Cas9 System

CRISPR/Cas9 is a genome editing tool that allows scientists to precisely modify DNA sequences within living organisms. It utilizes a bacterial defense system, CRISPR, and the enzyme Cas9 to target specific regions of the genome and make targeted cuts. These cuts can be used to introduce desired genetic changes, such as correcting mutations or disrupting genes of interest. CRISPR/Cas9 has transformed the field of molecular biology, offering unprecedented efficiency, precision, and scalability in genome editing.

The Casilio® System

At antibodies-online, we provide a range of antibodies, proteins, and kits tailored for use with CRISPR/Cas9 technology, empowering researchers and professionals in the life science industry to advance their work in genetic engineering and functional genomics. Addtionally on our second platform genomics-online we offer ready-to-use plasmids and vectors for CRISPR/Cas9. For example Casilio® transgene selection vectors which improve current CRISPR/Cas9 solutions and can be used for epigenetic gene regulation, gene editing or imaging of DNA binding proteins. Learn more about the Casilio® system down below.
