Background
ADMR is the receptor for adrenomedullin. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. It is highly expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, immune system, adrenal gland and liver and belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
