- Specificity
- Human Hepatitis B Associated Antigen. The defined antibody specificity is to the hepatitis associated antigen as tested in counterelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion against HAA positive human serum. The product does not react with normal human serum or plasma. Cross-reactivity Inter-species cross-reactivity of this antiserum has not been tested.

Usage: This product is intended for use as unlabelled primary or secondary antibody for the detection of HAA at the cellular and subcellular level by immunofluorescence and immunoenzyme assay methods, for the production of immunoconjugates with a selected marker, to prepare insoluble immunoaffinity adsorbents by coupling to an artificial carrier, as catching or detecting antibody in non-isotopic methodology and solid phase immunochemistry. When applied in any immunocytochemical or histochemical staining procedure or solid phase coupling technique, the optimum working dilution should be established by titration before being used. Working dilutions for histochemical and cytochemical use are usually between 1:50 and 1:250, in ELISA and comparable non-precipitating antibody-binding assays between 1:500 and 1:5000. - Restrictions
