Specificity: The mouse monoclonal antibody Ds-2 reacts with canine intra-acrosomal sperm protein (92 and 42 kDa), a testis-specific acrosomal vesicle protein 1 associated with the acrosomal membranes and matrix of the mature sperm.

Purification: Purified by protein-A affinity chromatography.

Purity: > 95 % (by SDS-PAGE)

Immunogen: Freshly ejaculated dog sperms were washed in PBS and extracted in 3% acetic acid, 10% glycerol, 30 mM benzaminidine. The acid extract was dialyzed against 0.2% acetic acid, lyophylized and subsequently used for immunization.
