    Product Specific Information
What can the CD11b Antibody ABIN741285 be used for?
This polyclonal CD11b Antibody detects CD11b. The CD11b Antibody has been validated for various applications and can be used for the detection of CD11b and derivatives by Flow Cytometry.
What validation data is available for this CD11b Antibody?
The primary antibody is referenced in 4 publications and is characterized by a proven, very high reliability. It has currently 7 product images that show its performance in a variety of applications. The product is currently available in 100 μL quantity. CD11b Antibody for the detection of CD11b and derivatives.
What is the function of CD11b?
This gene encodes the integrin alpha M chain. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This I-domain containing alpha integrin combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form a leukocyte-specific integrin referred to as macrophage receptor 1 ('Mac-1'), or inactivated-C3b (iC3b) receptor 3 ('CR3'). The alpha M beta 2 integrin is important in the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to stimulated endothelium, and also in the phagocytosis of complement coated particles. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009].
