IP: 2 - 10 μg/mg lysate
WB: Not recommended. ABIN7453315 has not performed satisfactorily when used for WB of RNA Polymerase II in crude preparations (e.g. whole cell lysate). This antibody can be used for WB of enriched (e.g. immunoprecipitated) sources of RNA Polymerase II.
ChIP-PCR: 8 μg per IP

- Background
- Background: RNA polymerase II is a DNA-dependent RNA polymerase that catalyzes the transcription of DNA into RNA using the four ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates. RNA polymerase II subunit B1 (RPB1) is the largest and catalytic component of RNA polymerase II which synthesizes mRNA precursors and many functional non-coding RNAs. It forms the polymerase active center together with the second largest subunit [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5430)].
