- Background
- Background: TRK-fused gene (TFG) has been identified as part of a chromosomal translocation [t(1,3)(q21,q11)] with NTRK1 in thyroid papillary carcinoma. TGF is implicated to play a role in modulating SHP-1 activity and has also been found to interact with TANK and NEMO, two proteins involved in the NF-kappaB signaling pathway.
