- Background
- Background: RMP [RNA polymerase II subunit 5(RPB5)-mediating protein] interacts with RPB5 to negatively regulate RNA polymerase II transcription. RMP has corepressor activity that is facilitated by its association with DMAP1 (DNA methyltransferase 1-associating protein). RMP appears to be involved in mTOR kinase signaling.
