- Background
- Background: Rab3-GAP1 is the catalytic subunit of Rab3-GAP. Rab3-GAP is a key regulator of calcium-mediated hormone and neurotransmitter exocytosis. Defects in Rab3-GAP1 are the cause of Warburg micro syndrome 1 (WARBM1) a disorder characterized by severe developmental abnormalities of the eye and central nervous system.
