    Background
Background: ZNF777 belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family and contains six C2H2-type zinc-fingers and a KRAB (Kruppel-associated box) domain. This protein has not been characterized, however KRAB-containing proteins are thought to serve a function in cell proliferation, apoptosis, differentiation, and neoplastic transformation.
