- Background
- Background: SDS3 (suppressor of defective silencing 3 protein homolog) is a component of the Sin3 histone deacetylase corepressor complex. In this complex SDS3 interacts with SIN3A to regulate gene expression via chromatin modification. Studies in mice have shown SDS3 to be important to genomic stability.
