- Background
- Background: LOK is a member of the Ste20 family of serine-threonine protein kinases. LOK associates with polo-like 1 kinase (PLK1) and may function to regulate its kinase activity. LOK has also been demonstrated to be involved in the regulation of the CD28 response-element in T-cells via the mitogen activated protein kinase kinase 1 pathway.
