Background
Background: CEP170 (centrosomal protein 170 kDa) was identified as an interaction partner of polo-like kinase 1 (Plk1), a serine/threonine kinase involved in spindle formation and chromosome segregation. CEP170 is a forkhead-associated domain protein that localizes to the centrosomes and functions to maintain microtubule organization.
