A horse was immunized with a mixture of native Hepatitis B Ad/Ay antigen and the resulting antiserum was collected. Antibody was solid phase adsorbed and immunoaffinity purified off an antigen containing immunosorbent. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.
This antibody reacts with Hepatitis Ad/Ay as determined by blotting and ELISA techniques. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
