Background
CD70 is a member of the TNF family whose expression is upregulated on DCs upon maturation. Its only receptor, CD27, is expressed on T cells and NK cells. The CD70/CD27 pathway promotes effector CD8+ T cells responses (by sustaining survival of CTLs) and influences polarization of CD4+ T cells, as it represents an alternative IL-12-independent pathway of Th1 priming and suppresses effector Th17 function.,CD70
