    Background
Synonyms:KIAA1954, NK10, Zfp 90, ZFP90, Zinc finger protein 90 homolog, ZNF756 Background:May function as a repressor or silencer protein, and most likely exerts its repressing activity upon zinc-dependent binding to DNA. May be involved in proper spermatogenesis by repressing the expression of genes unnecessary or incompatible with the maintenance of a haploid cell state(By similarity). Isoform 2 acts as a bridge between FOXP3 and the corepressor TRIM28, and is required for the transcriptional repressor activity of FOXP3 in regulatory T-cells(Treg)(PubMed:23543754).
