- Product Specific Information
-
- What can the VEGFR2/CD309 Antibody ABIN6142816 be used for?
- This polyclonal VEGFR2/CD309 Antibody detects VEGFR2/CD309. The VEGFR2/CD309 Antibody has been validated for various applications and can be used for the detection of VEGFR2/CD309 and derivatives by Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry.
- What validation data is available for this VEGFR2/CD309 Antibody?
- The primary antibody is referenced in 1 publications and is characterized by a proven, very high reliability. It has currently 5 product images that show its performance in a variety of applications. The product is currently available in 20 μL, 100 μL quantities. VEGFR2/CD309 Antibody for the detection of VEGFR2/CD309 and derivatives.
- What is the function of VEGFR2/CD309?
- Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a major growth factor for endothelial cells. This gene encodes one of the two receptors of the VEGF. This receptor, known as kinase insert domain receptor, is a type III receptor tyrosine kinase. It functions as the main mediator of VEGF-induced endothelial proliferation, survival, migration, tubular morphogenesis and sprouting. The signalling and trafficking of this receptor are regulated by multiple factors, including Rab GTPase, P2Y purine nucleotide receptor, integrin alphaVbeta3, T-cell protein tyrosine phosphatase, etc.. Mutations of this gene are implicated in infantile capillary hemangiomas. [provided by RefSeq, May 2009].
