- Recognizes CD14. This molecule is a high affinity, GPI-linked receptor for lipopolysaccaride (LPS) and LPS binding protein (LBP). It is is expressed at high levels on peripheral blood monocytes. This receptor is also expressed on macrophages, dendritic cells and some Langerhans cells.
