  • Application Notes

Application Note: Anti-Lactoperoxidase Peroxidase Conjugated Antibody has been tested by dot blot and western blot and is suitable to be assayed against 1.0 μg of Lactoperoxidase [Bovine Milk] in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.  A working dilution of 1:2,000 to 1:10,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for Anti-Lactoperoxidase Antibody.

    Western Blot Dilution: 1:500 - 1:5,000

    Immunoprecipitation Dilution: 1:100

    ELISA Dilution: 1:5,000 - 1:20,000

    Background
Background: Lactoperoxidase antibody recognizes the lactoperoxidase protein. Lactoperoxidase catalyzes the oxidation of a number of inorganic and organic substrates by hydrogen peroxide. Lactoperoxidase plays an important role in killing bacteria in milk. Lactoperoxidase conjugated to peroxidase is used to bind to the heavy and light specific target of the lactoperoxidase protein. Lactoperoxidase conjugated to Peroxidase is suitable for researchers in immunology, cancer, and biochemistry.
