- Specificity
- The antigen is CD14, the receptor for LPS. The epitope has not been further characterized. Antigen distribution: Isolated cells: Positive on monocytes and granulocytes, myeloid leukaemia and myeloid cell lines. Tissue sections: Positive on histiocytes, Langerhans cells, follicular dendritic cells and high endothelial venules. Specificity: Human: monocytes, some populations of macrophages, granulocytes. Other: not tested.
