Peptide ELISA: Detection Limit Dilution: 1/4000. Western Blot: 0.3-1.0 μg/mL. Approx 26 kDa plus 26 kDa bands observed in Human Testislysates (calculated MW of 30.6 kDa according to NP_000745.1 and of 24.6 kDa according toNP_009294.1). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Catechol-O-methyltransferase catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group from S-adenosylmethionine to catecholamines, including the neurotransmitters dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. This O-methylation results in one of the major degradative pathways of the catecholamine transmitters.
