(Differentially Expressed in FDCP 6 Homolog (DEF6))
DEF6, or IBP, is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RAC and CDC42 that is highly expressed in B and T cells. It is a novel PH-DH-like domain protein, and is an upstream activator of the Rho GTPases Rac1, Cdc42, and RhoA.Synonyms: DEF-6, Differentially expressed in FDCP 6 homolog, IBP, IRF4-binding protein, SLAT, SWAP70L
