- Background
- UBTD1 contains a ubiquitin domain, and has been demonstrated to bind to p53 in cells p53 is linked to the ubiquitination pathway through its transcriptional regulation of the four ubiquitin ligases, MDM2, COP1, Siah1b, and Pirh2. The role of UBTD1 has not been elucidated, however preliminary evidence indicates a potential role in p53 signaling.Synonyms: Ubiquitin domain-containing protein 1
