  • Application Notes
IHC, WB. A concentration of 1-5 μg,ml is recommended. The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
    Restrictions
    For Research Use only
  • Format
    Lyophilized
    Reconstitution
Reconstitute in 500 μL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
    Handling Advice
    Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
    Storage
    4 °C/-20 °C
    Storage Comment
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

    Background
FUNCTION: May bind tRNA. Has uracil-DNA-glycosylase activity. May activate transcription in neurons. Functions as a killing protein in apoptosis when over-expressed. CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate + phosphate + NAD+ = 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate + NADH. PATHWAY: Carbohydrate degradation, glycolysis, pyruvate from D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate: step 1/5. SUBUNIT: Homotetramer. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasm. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: High levels in skeletal muscle and heart, low levels in liver, brain, and kidney.,Neurodegeneration,38 kDa BFA dependent ADP ribosylation substrate, BARS-38, Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase
