- Background
- GP64 is the major envelope fusion protein of some, but not all, baculoviruses. GP64 is a homotrimeric membrane glycoprotein that is required for efficient budding of the virion and cell-to-cell transmission. This antibody can be used for detection of baculovirus infection and in quantifying viral infection.
