    Background

Synonyms: FLAB_VIBPA, Vibrio Parahemolyticus Polar flagellin B/D, flaB.

Background: Flagellin is the subunit protein which polymerizes to form the filaments of bacterial flagella. FlaB/D is not essential for polar flagellar synthesis and swimming motility. Homopolymer of FlaB/D is not able to form a functional filament.
