Application
- Western Blotting (WB), ELISA
- Specificity
- Recognizes the full-length (1-33 aa) of mouse Orexin-A. The epitope is not found in Orexin B. Since Orexin A and Orexin B are derived from an unprocessed pre-pro-orexin (130 aa), the anti-Orexin A antibodies may also react with prepro orexins. Species sequence homology: rat, porcine, ovine, bovine, canine, human 100 % and chicken 81 %.
