Application Notes
This affinity-purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 20-30 kDa in size corresponding to MAGP-2 protein by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.

MFAP5
(Microfibrillar Associated Protein 5 (MFAP5))
This antibody is designed, produced, and is suitable for Cancer, Immunology and Nuclear Signaling research. MAGP-2 (also known as Microfibril-associated glycoprotein 2, MFAP-2, MP25 and Microfibrillar-associated protein 5 precursor) is a secreted, extracellular matrix protein which is a component of the elastin-associated microfibrils. It forms intermolecular disulfide bonds either with other MAGP-2 molecules or with other components of the microfibrils. MAGP-2 is upregulated in some ovarian cancers and is associated with poor survival of ovarian cancer patients. Synonyms: MFAP 5 antibody, MFAP5 antibody, Microfibril associated glycoprotein 2 antibody, microfibrillar associated protein 5 antibod
