- Specificity
- This antibody reacts with CD8, the 33 kDa T8 antigen present on the human cytotoxic/suppressor T-cell subset. It strongly blocks the cytolytic activity of T8-positive CTLs. It also reacts with a subpopulation of Rhesus monkey lymphocytes which is identical to the population of human T8 positive cells.
