- Host
- Rabbit
- Clonality
- Polyclonal
- Application
- Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
- Specificity
- Lysozyme hydrolyzes certain glycosidic linkages of polysaccharides found in the cell walls of some bacteria. This enzyme is found in macrophages and in neutrophil granulocytes.
- Purification
- Concentrated.
- Immunogen
- Purified human lysozyme from urine of patients with monocystic leukaemia.

IHC: 1:30-1:60 (predigestion with proteolytic enzyme (pronase), / (trypsin) / (pepsin)}) improves staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections.
Staining Procedure: This antibody can be used on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Prolonged fixation in buffered formalin can destroy the epitope. The antibody may be used at a dilution of 1:30 to 1:60 in IHC. Predigestion with proteolytic enzyme) improves staining of formalin fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. It is recommended that this product be used on frozen tissue sections or specimens. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory. - Comment
