HRP / Horseradish Peroxidase. The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to horseradish as tested in direct binding enzyme immunoassay, ELISA and immunoblotting. Cross-reactivity This antiserum has not been tested for cross-reactivity.
Usage: This product is intended for use as a control in the tests where mouse IgG1 (with irrelevant specificity) should be used to show the presence of that given mouse isotype. In indirect tests as reagent to horseradish peroxidase or to potentiate the visualization of a peroxidase labeled conjugate in the appropriate material. As secondary reagent a labeled anti mouse IgG will serve for the detection. This system can be further be potentiated by the use of anti-FITC or anti-TRITC conjugates. For histochemical use optimum dilutions are mostly from 1:50 to 1:200, in ELISA from 1:500 upwards, in Western blotting from 1:1000 upwards. These data should be interpreted as general recommendations only.
