- Recognizes Escherichia coli Elongation Factor TU at the very end of the N-terminus of the EF-Tu molecule (SKEKFE). Species cross-reactivity: Bacteroides fragilis, Streptococcus oralis, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Burkholderia cepacia, Deinococcus sp., and weakly cross-reacts with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
