Target
TPTE
(Transmembrane Phosphatase with Tensin Homology (TPTE))
TPTE encodes a putative transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase and maps to the pericentromeric region of human chromosomes 21 and 13, and to chromosomes 15, 22, and Y. TPTE is exclusively expressed in testis. It is an integral membrane protein. It could be involved in signal transduction.Synonyms: BJ-HCC-5, Cancer/testis antigen 44, Putative tyrosine-protein phosphatase TPTE, Transmembrane phosphatase with tensin homology
